Hi LouLou, try not to get too stressed (easier said than done, I know). They really are giving you hell. But on the positive side, at least a medical panel will have a lot more knowlege (or damn well should have  ) about the illness. What you must do when interviewed, is to paint the worst possible senario, even if you are not like that every day. It is not telling lies. By doing that it will help them understand how this wretched illness really affects you. Good luck and remember all your friends here will be fighting for you too.

Oh it is so difficult to get posts accepted on this forum atm but I kept trying as I needed to reply to you.

From my experience with this I urge you strongly to take someone with you who knows how the illness affects you, preferably not a family member as the panel can think they are biased.

I took my local vicar's wife who knew me well back then.

When you get in front of the panel your mind goes even more blank and it is difficult to answer their questions properly and convincingly, Having someone else there, to refer to and fill in the blanks is a real help. You cannot face them alone, you don't have the physical or mental resources to handle it.

    Hi Loulou

So sorry you are having to go through this

Take some medical leaflets with you or print stuff off the net about ME so that they can see it as a "proper illness". Wikidpaedia has a good description and on one of these posts is a link put on by the Mods.

Also start a diary so that they can see how things fluctuate (what a good word :!: )

It is silly to say it but try not to fret cos it will make you ill

    Hug
