I've had it 20+ years, I always ache, but there are days where 75% of the time it's in the background and I can almost ignore it. I'm very good at being able to shut things out, I've twins born 11 weeks early then had another baby not quite a year later as well as an older child. If I hadn't learned to tune some things out they'd have driven me nuts, at least they're all grown up now.

    Hi Tinam

One can have good days or more of bad days. Dealing with one day at a time is the best way to go about your day to day life. Try not to overdo it with things and pace your day out if you can. Try not yo focus too much on the pains. I know it's easier said than done.

Gentle hugs to you.  wink x

    Hello tinam4,

I am afraid I can only echo what the others on here have said. No there is never a pain free day for me either. That's not to say I am not a positive person, or lead a purposeful life. I accept it, manage it and I can do no more than that. That said, I have only had it for 3 years, and I have massive admiration for those who have suffered for a long time.

    Take care, Anne
