Mine tends to flare up and when the bumps are raised and "active", I'm a bit itchy.

I agree Susan1967in a and I no longer use steroid creams since my pharmacist recommended and Natural Australian product recently called MooGoo for eczema and psoriasis which can be found on eBay or www.moogoo.com.au. so far I'm quite impressed but have only used for two weeks. I had an outbreak underarm and torso and it calmed it down first day with no itching. Today nodules are completely flat and fading. Fingers crossed. I'm trying anything atm for my GA that is as natural as possible as all the toxins I've put in and on my body over the years for GA has done nothing to help.

      Hi

Just wondered if you have started uvb light therapy.

I am being referred for it as I have generalised GA.

Started well over 10years ago and spreading

Hi there. I recently was diagnosed with GA. Initially it just bothered me to look at and didn’t have any associated issues with it. Now that winter is here, it seems that my spots are very sensitive and are painfully itchy. I started using Euciderm lotion with ceramides (for psoriasis/excema) and the itchiness has gone away significantly. Still take NSAIDS for my nerve type pain, but definitely try that lotion! It’s worked wonders for me! Hope that helps!

Some of the lesions let you know they’ve arrived by itching.  The itchiness usually goes away once they’re established.
