GA started just before menopause.

I am 60 yo.  Had lesions on legs and arms. Slowly  gotten worse over time. However just recently took progesterone for some bleeding. Seemed to get a few more spots.  Had Tb test two weeks ago and lesions have EXPLODED!!  Now on neck and chest. Hopefully wont get to my face. That's all that's left! I am in healthcare and have hadTb testing annually for 42 years.  Have taken steroids, injections and plaquenil with no improvement.  Anyone tried Humira?  Dermatologist said some have improvement but insurance won't cover it and very expensive.  Mother has lupus and thyroid issues so auto immune definitely in the genes.

My derm from the University of Iowa added Minocycline 100mg BID to my Plaquenil.  I had no new outbreaks within 2 weeks of starting and my other spots started fading and shrinking. He felt it was a safer option to start with than Humira. Good luck. (I h)ave the millions of tiny little spots, not the raised rings.

I am just 60, and it's spreading rapidly. Think I was late 40,s when it first started. My GP  said he has never seen it this bad on anyone else so is sending me back to see a dermatologist.

If I could afford alternative  treatments I would certainly go down that road first as I don't like

    Taking strong medicines
