GA treatments

Hello everyone - I'm 40 years old and have had GA for a bit over 2 years. It started on my wrists and elbows, then spread to my legs around my knees and ankles.

Initially I had steroid shots in my wrists and arms which made the spots go away but they came back just a few months later and then started spreading to my legs.

I then was given Plaquenil and and 1 month of Prednisone pills. My spots almost completely disappeared, but within a few weeks of stopping the Prednisone they started to come back again. The doctor gave me 1 more month of Prednisone and then switched me over to Cyclosporine. Its been a couple of weeks now and i can see the spots are coming back again mow that I've stopped the steroids. unfortunately the steroid pills seem to be the only thing that work, but they can't be taken long term.

I've read about sulfur crystals on this forum so I'm going to try that. I might also try an elimination diet. I was thinking about getting a food sensitivity test to see if that gives any insight to what foods I should eliminate.

If anyone has anything else to share that has worked for them, please share!
