Gaba and Talwin after stroke

I had two strokes in 2014 April and it took out my whole right side. I won't lie i came to quickly addicted to morphine and fentneol (sp) and Oxys. I had to do a 6 month rehab to get straight. During that time I was moved over to Gabapentin. I came home a new person because it really made that much of a difference. My stroke Dr put me on Talwin for my break thru pain. The Gaba has changed my attitude and give me my energy. I call it my OIL! The Talwin has naloxon in it so I don't get high. I know everyone is so different but my life is now manageable because this balance. I am 33 years old in a body of a 65 year old but I will do everything I can until my body gives out. My recommendation try this and the side effects go away. 2 years of treatment and I'm the best me I can be!

My goodness Elizabeth, you have had more than your share of troubles at a young age. I am glad that Gabapentin is working for you and that you are being seen and monitored by a doctor. It is good to hear that the side effects do go away.  I am finding that out now too and that you can get going in life without all the chronic aches and pains. Keep your spirits up and celebrate every little victory. You earned it !!!

I tell everyone that gaba is my oil just like the old tin man. I am excited to live life not addicted to hard drugs needing my next fix. This really can help ween u of that bad stuff and give a positive outcome. Myself changed and boy I'm happy looking at the inside and bein on the outside here!
