Gabapebtin withdrawal is killing my dog

After my dog was put on this medicine needlessly, she suffered 19 seizures & an apparent stroke after last dose (I was never told she should have been weaned off). Had I known what I know now about this drug this would never have happened. Unfortunately this med is overly prescribed by vets without the knowledge of what harm it can really do. Do no harm was not there for my Luna & she was failed by the medical community. I know this is a dog but it's been helpful reading your experiences.
