Has anyone that was on gabapentin and went off had breathing problems and weakness of legs, numbness in one side of face!! I’ve been off for 1 month today and I I still have these systems! I’m beginning to think there is something else going on!! Any answers would be greatly appreciated

    hi Diane,

Might be worth checking with your GP.

I've been off about the same time as you,but suffer from depression and anxiety.crawling sensations under the skin especially up both arms.headache, and bit sleeping too well.i looked the side effects up,and it looks like I score almost a full house.

Don't get put back on it again irrespective of what the GP says, but as I said, its worth having a chat.

Good luck, let me know how you get on with GP.

      v2806,

I haven’t seen my GP since I went to her for my headaches! She sent me to a neurologist which put me on this! When I went to my GP for her to fill out papers for work she told me I am not dealing with you for this anymore you need to deal with neurologist! When I told my neurologist she said I don’t know why you are feeling so bad!! UGH!!! So I am so lost and angry!! I am hoping this goes away soon!! Thanks for responding!!!

I’m my opinion from being in Gabapentin it’s Either Sodium,Potassium or Magnesium. I take 500 of mag every night and carry Sugar Free Poweraid around all day diluted with a little water. As for potassium being low I take the powder For of potassium. Check with your doc and get electrolytes checked before taking any supplements
