I have been on gabapentin for 5months fairly low dose .I have now tapered off but have developed an ectopic heartbeat.Has anyone else had this problem anddoes it go away.

Hi Sharon, you are not alone. My friend developed ectopic heartbeats following tapering off gabapentin. She went to a cardiologist about it and they gave her a tablet that she could take as and when she gets them go calm everything down. to this day (nearly two years since it began) she still gets them but they are milder and less frequent now. Hope you are doing well.
