Gall bladder removal 1+ years on..

Looking to see if someone has experienced similar after a Cholecystectomy.

Sept 2020 i had excruciating pain which led to me going to a&e. After some scans i was told i had gallstones. I had my gall bladder removed in feb 2021. All was well until around sept 2021 .. the pain came back but worse and spread into my lower back, the pain is all on the right side. The pain goes from just under my right breast to my pubic area and into my back.

I have been back and forth to the doctors and hospital but there is nothing wrong?

Mri on my back, ultrasound, external and internal scans on ovaries, blood tests.

I cannot take the painkillers they have prescribed as they leave me very limited in what i can do ie drive!

This pain is constant! But i have found its worse the week before i am due on and the week after my period ends. Maybe just coincidence.

I have now been referred back to my consultant who did the operation!

sorry to hear that. this is the first time i have been on a forum.

I am trying to find some info for my wife. She got her Gall Bladder removed a few years ago and is having similar issues as you.

She is very limited on what she eats and drinks.

Bilex seems to give her some relief but it doesnt always work.

we have gotten every test and scan done and no answers yet. She is seeing a nutritionist at the moment. Good luck and i hope you get relief soon
