Gall stones really getting me down

Have had gall stones since january lost 3 stone and still waiting 2 see surgeon. Im finding it really hard not to break down i have 4 young children and now the pain is in my back constantly as well as pain under left and right ribs. Life is getting harder 2 cope with every day im really struggling and im sick of eating chicken salad lol. Anyone else going through the same thing as me. Painkillers i take are tramadol paracetamol buscopan sickness tablet and lansoprazole the feeling of sickness dont seem 2 going now so its getting worse cause the tablets not working sorry 4 long post

    Know how you feel over 7 months of pain for me now tasha I just want t my life back x

      Im hoping mine wont take that long i got 4 young kids and my other half works nights just finding it really hard with all the pain its really depressing x

    I have read quite a few posts of ppl having to WAIT to get their GB removed.. WHY is it tyaking so long !? Do you not live in the US ??  I live in Michigan and 4 weeks ago I had my second GB attack and 5 days later I had my surgery  /GB removed. why arn't you getting your out right away ?  I had terrible post surgery pain for 2 weeks but now ALMOST feel good as new.  Im 61 years old

      Wish i was in us if they take it out that quick cant cope with tjw pain no more im at the end of my tether

      I know what you mean, I've been waiting over 4 months for my surgery, right now it's 3:51AM (I'm in New Zealand) and I'm sitting outside the toilet on the ground having an attack with intense nausea. But my surgery is booked in a months time.

    Here in the UK we wait forever for everything . Unfortunately it's not seen as an emergency

      To wait with that AWFUL pain is INHUMANE !!  I could hardly STAND the pain, I couldn't walk, barely talk.  all I knew is that I was in agony !  I went to the ER, spent the night abd had my GB removed the next day !

    I'm so sorry you are going through all that pain and feeling down I cannot imagine doing that with 4 children. You are one strong lady, keep your head up stay strong it will work out smile
