I had gallbladder attacks since 2019 thinking it was upset stomach they lasted at first 10 to 15 min after a Topo Chico (seltzer water). Then in 2020 they lasted 4 hours every 6 months or so. In 2021 they became longer and more frequent (every 2 months) I thought it was the mint in Aldens mint in chip would never fail to happen on that night I ate it. Got diagnosed in august 2021 H Pylori (Did CT Scan MRI Ultrasound to see if no ulcers) and doctor recommended wait and see if pain would go away. In preparation for H Pylori I ate lots of probiotic foods and cut alcohol to let the little guys grow. Happened again in November and December went ER 12/27/21 and they took ultrasounds for a second time. They informed me I might have Gallstones but none came up in the ultrasound just Gallbladder sludge in the September Ultra. January 4 doctor calls says congrats sludge gone on Ultra 12/27/21. January 5 It felt like I was having a heart attack and sweats, dizzy and the most agonizing pain, worse than gallbladder attack. I had a gallstone pass to the Central Bile duct. (had ERCP to remove gallstone). Next day without prior warning or even a chat they wanted to remove my gallbladder and surgery. I refused they were not happy and were annoyed.
I started research and changed my diet that day and began exercising. I had one more attack on March 12 gallbladder felt tender, inflamed and painful to the touch. Lasted 3 days of pain and no sleep. it 9/25/2022 and I have not had any further attacks. SO HERE IS HOW YOU STOP THE ATTACKS AND IT IS NOT EASY but the alternative is having gallbladder surgery and sometimes you do not end up the same as before which is what doctors always say.
STOP ALL PROCESSED FOODS (pasta, white bread, junk cereals, etc)
STOP ALL FRIED FOODS (FRIED CHICKEN, Wings, ETC)
STOP WHOLE MILK AND FOR SURE BUTTER
NO EGGS JUST THE WHITES
NO DONUTS NO SCONES you get it.
STOP MOST SUGARS (Sodas, high fructose)
YOU GET IT! EAT THE WAY PEOPLE ATE ABOUT 50 years ago.
I also started taking Ursofalk (Ursodeoxycholic) and Omega 3 high in EPA specifically.
I have lost 40 pounds but do not lack for food or not hungry. Lots of chicken breast, tzat tziki for creaminess, pillars yougurt for my shakes, I have drank alcohol 4 times in 9 months. I scone in 9 months no pizza no fried either in 9 months. If you cannot do these healthy changes it will keep happening.
