Gallbladder Issues

Hello, I just joined and this is my first post. I just a question to ask to see if anyone had this experience. A little about myself, I'm in my late 40s, been overweight, bad eating, have hypertension, GERD and acid reflux for several years and have been on medication for it.

Back in the first week of May, I had Covid, I wasn't too sick, other than cold symptoms. About a week goes by and I start getting a bad pain in my stomach and what I describe as electricity pulsing through my body. My wife took me to the ER, they checked vitals, blood work, my liver enzymes were high, which they contributed to Covid. After a few days I ended up back in the ER with stomach pain, terrible acid reflux, excessive belching, gas build up, dizziness and still having electricity feeling running body. I had a Cat scan of my abdomen and was told nothing was out of ordinary. The ER gave me Tylenol and Zofran, then sent me home.

I still had several issues, like dizziness, head pressure, blurry vision, nausea, weakness, fatigue, high heart rate, cold sweating, abdominal pain, electricity feeling (like pins and needles), excessive burping, gas and acid reflux. I had an MRI, echocardiogram, stress test, chest x-ray, chest Cat scan, cortisol test and more blood tests, all the tests was normal, but my liver enzymes were still high.

I had a HIDA scan done last week and found out my gallbladder is non functioning at 7%. Since my HIDA scan my symptoms had gotten worse. My doctor said some of my symptoms are from the gallbladder and some are from anxiety. I'm to meet with the surgeon in three weeks.

My question is has anyone else experience these symptoms?

dizziness

Blurry vision

Vision focus.

head pressure, pain, mostly in the back of head

Pins and Needles all through the body

Heart palpitations

High heart rate

nausea

loss of appetite

Abdominal pain

Back pain

Excessive belching

Weakness in arms and legs

Ears ringing

I've been having all these symptoms, they come and go. It usually seems to be the worse in the mornings and afternoons. some days I wake up feeling good and think maybe I'm getting better, then the next day I feel like crap. It makes it difficult to do anything. I've been off work for two months. I just want to get better and get back to work. I've lost 40lbs in the past 6-7 weeks. I don't eat anything high fat. I always had a little anxiety, but it has been extremely high since this all started. My doctor has put me on medication for anxiety, but it doesn't seem to help.

The only good thing is that I'm eating healthier and losing weight.

I apologize for the long post. Thanks for any help that you may provide.

My doctor did reluctantly agree to refer me for an endoscopy but non urgent so could be months wait which is frustrating. Even then that wont detect gallbladder issues so i guess i have continue trying to fix myself.

Its frustrating to go from someone who is usually healthy, active physical job, lots of dog walking, hardly ever ill and usually when i am i recover very quickly, to feeling constantly ill and like im slowly dying and doctors think its all in my head.

      Chris,

Exactly how I feel, although I've had other minor health issues like Hypertension and GERD, I've always been active, weight training, walking, biking and hiking. I was one that never got sick and when I did, I recovered quickly. It's so hard, I hate to go to bed on a good day fearing I will wake up to a bad day. I had a bad day this past Sunday that I was shaking uncontrolled so bad that I thought I was going to die. Thank God for my wife, she had been my rock through this. I just want my normal self back, but everyday I feel like it will never happen.
