Gallbladder polyps

Hello everyone. Ive had gallbladder polyps for around 18 months, confirmed by ultrasound. My symptoms are as followed

:- mild indigestion, pressure and dull ache under right rib, sometimes i get flank pain, migranes, sinus issues on right side, dry eye, nausea, bloating.

My question is does anyone else have polyps or these symptoms? Im trying to guage if its my gallbladder causing my symptoms or something else. Just to add, i have no gallstones.

Thanks in advance.

Have you seen a gastric surgeon due to such a specialist being appropriate to order more accurate imaging and further testing for you.

No. All ive done is eat healthier but it hasnt helped long term. Maybe i havent done it for long enough. my doctor was not concerned by the polyps because they are small and didnt want to send me for further testing. I may go back and demand more tests be done.

You are correct by doing that because some GP's have not got a clue and even some so called specialists could do with much more study!

This situation should not occur but it does with far too much regularity.

We are only her once so why not get the best treatment so that we last as long as possible and especially when as you eat the correct diet etc and 'look after yourself'.

I've said it before ,GP's do not appreciate us writing & sending emails but I can assure every single person that is the way to conduct important items and a patient is not wrong ,far from it.

It is surprising when you look at medical histories and all that is in black and white =i.e. nothing that is discussed word of mouth matters but what is 'black and white' most certainly does matter because it is absolute and all who read it should take note of it because in some instances that info is crucial..

I would ask for a hidascan to be done . I didn't have stones mine just stopped functioning.I had ct scan and ultrasound which showed nothing abnormal since I had no stones.the hidascan shows how your gb functions.it will def. tell if your gb is good or bad.good luck!

I had a pretty big polyp last year. It showed on an Ultrasound. My symptoms were pretty much the ones you are experiencing. Nausea, bloating, very slow digestions. I lost 10 kilos in just two months, and I had my gallbladder removed in February. Although I still have problems digesting fat, I started feeling much better soon after my surgery. BTW, my polyp ended up being a cholesterol one.
