Gallbladder removal

Hi can anybody help I'm due to have my gb took out in about 3 weeks. I've had no pains since August but still having nausea feeling should I go ahead with my op or not.😯

YES!!! But that's only my opinion. Trouble is if you leave it then get another infection it can delay any op. By the time mine was taken out the gallbladder had perforated and I had an abscess which burst. Best whip it out when you are feeling well. Good luck in your decision xxx

Hi, Michelle,
I think that yes you should go ahead. Just because you're not having pain doesn't mean that your gallbladder isn't diseased. Best to have it out, I think, while you're doing okay, rather than waiting till you're very ill, and can't get in to have it done soon enough!

As I've heard other people, and I've said myself. It's not IF you'll have another attack but WHEN you'll have another attack. If you're already having issues than you really should have it out. It will only get worse if you keep it in Don't be afraid of the surgery. It's not bad at all!
