Gallbladder Removal - Pulling Sensation

Posted , 2 users are following.

Hello! I am currently 1 week post op of having my gallbladder removed (laproscopic). The first few days I was extremely sore, especially near the incision closest to my upper abdomen. The soreness has subsided quite a bit but now I am noticing a pulling sensation in my abdomen. Sometimes I feel it in my upper right abdomen and sometimes its near the middle of my abdomen. Its not super painful but more of a pulling feeling. It happens more when I am getting dressed or having to bend to grab something. I have been very careful not to do much besides my normal daily necessities, using the restroom, showering, and walking around as I was told I needed to do. Has anyone ever experienced this or know what it may be?

    Hi mari

I hope you are okay now.

think It's okay if the pain doesn't get worse. It'll get a lot better in a month. If the pain gets worse, you'd better see a doctor.
