Gallbladder sludge and GERD

I have been experiencing digestion problems for about a month. Ultrasound showed what appears to be sludge or small stones, but doctor suspects I also have GERD. So I am up for further testing. What really worries me if the lack of appetite and the loss of weight, but I haven't experienced any pain. Has anyone felt any similar symptoms?

I am 14 days post op and also have no apppetite. So far my gastro M.D. isn't too concerned about that as long as I am drinking and eating small amounts during the day. If things don't improve , I will see him again.. How long has it been since you had your gallbladder out?

Yes those are normal symptoms if you have gallbladder issues. I didn’t have much appetite either but didn’t lose much weight as my body obviously kept all the calories I was eating. Some people lose a lot of weight with gallbladder problems. Try to eat little and often instead of bigger meals. That helps with gerd as well as your stomach isn’t so full that it’s using a lot of acid to help with digestion. Are you on treatment for the gerd? xx
