    Hi

Do hang in, all of the symptoms do sound like gallbladder, try to eat a no fat diet, it can be done, make soups, eat oats for breakfast with boiled water or skimmed milk, bananas etc. Everything you buy/eat must be no fat. In the meantime keep pushing for tests that will give you the answers.

    good luck.

HI Debi, Yes I had these same symptoms as well, & fir 2 long years I suffered with them, goong to my GI Specialist regularly, where he he a colonoscopy & an endoscopy with no results! Finally the pain was so so excruciating that I went to the ER @ the Hospital and the Doctor ordered a cat scan, and asked me his long these symptoms & pains were going on? When I told him 2 long years, his expression was something like "WHAT THE HELL!" and he said I'd suffered far too long & questioned who was my GI specialist? and did he ever order a cat scan or an ultra sound? And I answered him, no not once! After the results came back a short time later, this Doctor admitted me to the Hospital for immediate surgery that took place 12 hours later. Evidently I had gall stones and a large gall stone blocking the opening. This Doctor said it was a good thing I'd come to the ER when I had! I hope your situation is better than mine was, but if your GI doesn't order a cat scan of your abdomen or an ultra sound, I'd humbly urge you to request one, or get a new Doctor. The road after surgery can vary for each individual, mine has been challenging to say the least but I've found great ways to deal with the after effects, & other people on this venue have some awesome ideas as well. Hopefully you won't need gall bladder surgery. Best Wishes

Hope you manage to see consultant sooner rather than later.

Even if consultant agrees to operate there is then a long waiting list.

Sorry if that sounds hard at the moment but better to know and to be honest and realistic.

If you really feel that unwell I suggest you go back to GP.

Take care and keep in touch.

    Sarah
