In my case after throwing up all night when there is a 'flare up' not many would want to eat a deal next day so obviously when that happens weight goes down as nothing is going in apart from the nasty whole lemon and warm olive oil to dissolve the lemon in! There is a lot of wind looseness griping and anguish but if a stone is eventually passed you may feel it was all worth it! Not a nice process at all.
My surgeon said I'll prescribe the Ursodioxycholic acid you mention but it's an awful way of getting rid of the stones but it will dissolve them. This method did not bother me in the least and he said he would give me more till the stones were completely gone if I wanted to continue on that method....... I felt it was better that a gall bladder operation any day of the year !

He means he's lost 3 stone. You appear to be queuing everyone when they say they've lost weight re ? Stones or pounds . If you know others with gall stones you'd know it was 3 stones not 3 pounds . I loose 3 pounds in a single flair / attack !
