Gaming and electronic toothbrush for kids

Posted , 3 users are following.

I think about buying a gaming or electronic toothbrush (like Grush or Kolibree) for my kid but they are very expensive so I am not sure it's worth it... Is anyone have tried one of them? What do you think about those kind of toothbrush for kids? I am personally using an electronic toothbrush for myself but I don't know if it's good for a child to use a gaming/electronic toothbrush.

Thanks for your advice :-)

    Hi Barbara,

I have to admit, I've never heard of a gaming toothbrush. What are they?  I would suggest getting a good electronic toothbrush as the cheap ones just vibrate a bit and don't do anything to help clean teeth. I think it really depends on how old you kid is. It is a fun way to teach your kid how to use one to clean his teeth properly. I don't think there is anything inherently good or bad about using an electric toothbrush for optimal cleaning.

    Thank you Sarah!

I've seen connected toothbrush to an app which can teach your child how to brush with an annimation. It looks great! It's a funny way for them to learn how to brush and to enjoy it! (which is not often the case)
