I'm sure it will be great for you to be pain free, some have both done at the same time, it all depends on your surgeon and if he does bilateral ops.

hi
ive had both hips THRs 2 years ago aged 48
7 months apart
was meant ti be 4 months apart but my surgeon advised me to wait another few months to give 1st one more of a chance to heal and get stronger
i must admit best bit of advice he gave me
no pain in either hip feel great
i would listen to what your surgeon says

i did mine a year a part . my surgeon recommends 3 months to reduce chances of infection.

Hi ,i had two done at once ,ask your surgeon, mine was brilliant, that was three months ago, i'm now back at work , riding my back, but also being careful ,as to what i can do and not over doing it
