Garlic Supplements for BV?

So I took garlic supplements last weekend and I have to say they totally helped but I stopped after a few days because I got sick. Not sure if it was the garlic or the after effects of taking so much metro gel. Anyone had this experience with the garlic or weeks after taking metro? It was so bad I felt like I had the flu....

I haven’t experienced any side effects with garlic pills but I stopped using them because it wasn’t helping me. I still had a lot of discharge, with itching. I will be starting metro gel after my period ends this week I hope it helps. Maybe lower your dosage of garlic supplements.

It was definitely the metrogel. I cant take that anymore, orally or vaginally. Vaginally is less severe but i still get dizzy, and nauseous with a bad headache.

Even weeks after? I started drinking kombucha which seemed to help since the metro wiped out all my good bacteria, but I wasn't sure if the garlic would do that too...

I had chronic BV that was invited by anything for a year and a half. It was triggered by me having ANY sugar.  Finally demanded that my labs be drawn. My Vit D was low. After 1.5 months my BV was gone. Vit D deficiency causes sugar intolerance and a decreased immunity. I also have a on of energy now. Maybe this could help some of you
