gas in gut after bowel movement

After my bowel movements i build up with gas in gut sometimes giving me pain. Once this happens the gas is hard to dislodge.

    Have you tried oval? I had a really bad bout of gas after eating theatre popcorn that lasted several days and oval really helped alleviate the pressure.

      Sorry I misspelt it. It's called Ovol and it is an anti-gas med. It breaks down trapped air into smaller bubbles so they are more easilly passed. I believe the active ingredient is called simethicone

    Is this gas or acid in the stomach? I had acid in the stomach. My GP was vwry quick to pick up on this. I am now on Omeprazole and it is working.

    Worth checking out.
