Gas is killing me, how to stop it and how to get rid after I get it?

It looks like I have IBS but my symptoms are out of the box. The gas that I get is incredible and very consistent. Early afternoon is the worst time.  I have tried different foods with no real understanding for what causes it. How do I get rid of it when I get it or how can I keep it from developing?

I have IBS and tried to illuminate foods for 2 years at a time, and nothing helped. I am now just living with it. I have tried buscopan but that made me seriously ill so I cannot use that. I know spice makes me worse so I avoid that, and also caffeine.

If not already talk to your GP, there are two diets they can try both to do with carbohydrates, your GP will need to decide on the best way forward. After confirmation of a new diet to follow you should feel much better.

Gas is common with IBS.  Try avoiding broccoli, brussels sprouts and cabbage.  Avoid fizzy drinks.  Try bicarbonate of soda to release the gas.  I get very gassy at times with my IBS.  Have you had a firm diagnosis of IBS from your doctor?  If not, see your doctor.

Do you have other symptoms like shifting, generalised stomach pain and change of bowel habit?

Constipation then some diarrhea. Pain sometimes high in my stomach but if I push on my stomach gas comes out of my throat and then eventually the other end. I push my hand on my stomach and it makes all sorts of noises
