gastic bad over eating

Hi there!

Do any of you find yourselves snacking on high calorie food when stressed, low, down or anxious?

I have over xmas been over eating high calorie foods, getting me down as I feel I have no motivation. I have lost almost 3 stone since my sergery (feb 15) , but recently I cant stop eating rubbish.

Thanks in advance

    Hi Ellie

Don't worry you are not alone with this.

I've been attacking the cheese and chocolate over Xmas and gained 4lbs.

I'm trying to get back on track this week.

I think I need a kick up the backside to head to the gym and pool.

Perhaps I need to think about summer and holidays to motivate me .

Well done on loosing 3st, I'm sure you will find your motivation soon

Yes I had far 2 much chocolate wine and cheese over xmas which the band wnt have any control over. I'm back on track this week now no goodies in the cupboards and just back from a spin class. Get urself back on track again tomorrow is a new day 👍

yes it is very easy to snack on rubbish  - i dont even need a reason other than i like the taste of it - i think the way forward is not to have the rubbish in the house - damage limitation - if it s not there then you cannot eat it - its a lot harder to stuff yourself with junk food if you have to go to the shop and buy it everytime you fancy a snack  - ensure you have some health snacks and stick to them

Yeah I completely agree. Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one. When I do slip back into the bad eating, I feel even more guilty about eating it than I did pre band!! So silly!!

      Thanks again
