Hi it's my first appointment tomorrow for gastric band feeling excited! Any ideas how long it is till operation, Im going private xx

    Can be anything from 2 weeks depends how much weight you have to loose and what ore op diet x

    I had my first consultation yesterday. She asked me if i had any date in mind for my surgery. I cant have mine done till aug because of work and she said that would be fine. Im just waiting to get my appiintment for opp through and then i will get an appointment to see about my pre opp diet. I wish i could have mune done sooner. Good luck. Hope it goes well tomorrow

    Private is usually 2 weeks after consultations.

    It was 6 weeks after my consultation, but I went away to think about it first and when I rang to confirm it was then 3 weeks away!!  its normally anything from 2 weeks or a date that is good for you x

    Hi,

    I had my Op 2 weeks after my first consultation. I went with healthier weight and haven't looked back since.
