Gastric surgury 3 days ago. Help

Hi i had the gastric bypass 3 days ago and to be honest i have been using my treadmill and walking on it as i was told walking is good after surgery but today woke up in pain and wondering how long the pain lasts for? I had bad gas pains but that is only every now and then now!! I thought i would get pain in my stomach area but its to the left of my stomach almost to my side and like a stabbing pain that i get. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated x
