For a few weeks I've been having awful pressure pain under left rib n fullness when eating taking my breathe away going back three months I was told I maybe had asthma as at that time I was having job to get air in I've been told yesterday at the drs I could have gastritis I have autoimmune hepititis n had a fibroscan that picked up a tumour in my liver my liver specialist doesn't seem worried about that as not cancerous. At the fibroscan I mentioned to the lady I'm having horrendous pressure under and around left rib she scanned it and just under my bra and in muddle of chest and when was scanning mentioned one word pancreas but said no more I'm now waiting for blood test due to be taken 13 oct 3 days after my 60 birthday n my usual liver tests I would love to know does anyone else have this awful pressure an pain in arms and shoulders I was given tab called lanperasole haven't got them yet

I have burning shoulders and pain in arms i was diagnosed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica PMR.....have you had an inflammation test which is an ESR , CRP and ANA test if all these levels are raised you have inflammation in your body...go to your doc and request the test for inflammation because IF it is PMR it could progress to GCA Giant Cell Arteritis which can affect your eyes....

Hi royalty
I know it's really painful!....ask doc to do the other tests you may have PMR...which has to be treated incase your develop Giant Cell Arteritis...in the meantime you can alleviate the pain with Ibuprofen which is an anti inflammatory med but over time can irritate your gut but u don't want that but take them until you see your doc read leaflet thst comes with them....also i use Voltarol Emulgen pain-ease cream on my arms and shoulders and it does ease the pain for a long time but use it twice a day morning and before bed..you can get both from a pharmacy..i know exactly what you are going through..once it is confirmed you have inflammation you will be referred to a Rheumatologist who will diagnose your condition.....make an appt to see your doc asap...my best wishes to you from a fellow sufferer....
