Gastroscopy

Hello I am new to group and was just after some info regards tests for Barretts. I had gastroscopy on Monday and was told I had Hiatus Hernia and question  Barretts, so awaiting results of biopsy.  Thank you for all your posts it has helped me understand more 😊

    A hiatus hernia is were the stomach come through the diaphragm

    Welcome to the group Bet. I have Barretts oesophagitis but at the moment it is I hope under control with Omeprezalone and a tablet night which makes the stomach empty quicker. I am sure you will get a lot of information from this group but try the internet I am sure you will get a lot of information there. Jeanettesmile

      Thank you Jeanette for your welcome . I don't know yet if I have Barretts and I am very concerned if I have . I hope yours stays under control ..😄
