Very interesting article. As in my case with PMR my doctor was unaware of the symptoms and at one stage doubted that I had PMR until this was explained to him (and me having a full blown flare). It is probably the same with GCA and as usual it is down to the patient to self diagnose if possible. Articles like this hopefully make people more aware so thank you for bringing it to the forums attention. Dave (tavidu)
