Gelatin

Some people are promoting taking gelatin as part of the protocol for forming strong bones.  Why?  Any controlled research to prove this?  I have heard it *may* help joint function in osteoarthritis.

    ?That is why I take the gelatin, to help my OA and my joints.  It is somethings our grannies used to take apparently smile

      So what's a vegetarian to do?  Or should I not care, probably consume gelatin in some supplements anyway.  rolleyes

      ?The well known make I take I presume is not vegetarian friendly but I have just looked on the bottle, and not sure.  Good luck!

      I don't think you'd get the same benefits form the vegetarian subsititutes.
