I have been reading that Cialis is going

It is now available on prescription but, as I understand it, only the branded (more expensive) Cialis can be bought without prescription.

As far as I know the patent for the one-off Cialis, the 10mg or 20mg dose, has already expired.   I think the low dose one-a-day 2.5mg or 5mg dose is still under patent.

The patent on Cialis expires in 2020 (according to Google) but generic equivalents have been available (i have bought them in St Vincent in the Caribbean, and in Oman in Middle East) and generally they are available OTC without prescription (as I found was Cialis in Dubai and in Argentina)

My doctor her in NC wrote me a prescription for a generic Tadalafil that was filled by Triangle Compounding Pharmacy in Cary, NC.  It was around $3 per dose as I recall.  The toll free number for the pharmacy is 888-858-0809.  The way it works is your doctor fills out their prescription form, faxes it to them.  They will call you to get a credit card number (I paid out of pocket).  I gave them the number, and received the shipment by mail about 30 hours later.
