genital herpes and pregnant

Posted , 4 users are following.

I had GH since October 2012, from my partner having canker sores. I to felt my social life would come very short.

Dr. Said if I have kids I would pass it to them and have a minimal chance of my newborn surviving. ..

Aug 2013 I became pregnant. Dr. Said either take these pills to seize the breakout outs or c-section.

MY same partner Found a solution vs those pills.

*Aloe Propolis

*Licorice Root(pill form)

*Zinc Picolinate (pill form)

*Vitamin C packets

I had vaginal pregnancy and my newborn is healthy.

I hope this helps.

    Hello Dianne,

I just have to say that your doctor was wrong, I have HSV-2 and had a baby 5 weeks ago, normal delivery and he is very healthy and breastfed, theres only a high chance of passing the virus on if you catch HSV during your pregnancy, the chance of passing it on becomes considerably lower (like 1%) if you already had it before pregnancy, yes I took antiviral meds to lower the risk of an outbreak during delivery, and yes if you have an outbreak while in labour you will probably have a c-section.

I agree, Mandy personally the meds was not working so I substitute other natural means

Hi Dianne, a friend of mine had an outbreak at the time she went into labour and so they did a c-section; she was told it was to protect the baby's eyes from picking up the virus because repeated outbreaks of herpes on the cornea causes scarring and problems with vision.

Hi,  Tallulah, everyone's body is different,  I took the above info for a month so my body would be immune to it.. I am just passing info along to help.
