Genital herpes HSV2 exposure and symptoms

I've been depressed and couldn't sleep of 12 days now and i need your help!!!

it's been 12 days since i had an intercourse with a female (protected, but no oral protection) (female was hsv2 positive with igg 15) , i used penis ring during the intercourse and was a bit tight for me.

following day woke up with a burning feeling in my penis and had a full 5 days of urgent urinating but no pain during urinating. 3rd day my urine was literally brown to dark and smells really bad. also felt my penis after a week kept a little bit thicker than usual while flaccid. i felt fatigue in my body but no sores or blisters at all and after 9 days all of the symptoms disappeared. could it be hsv2 symptoms??! (doctors says technically as she didnt had any physical signs like blisters or bumps on her body it would be difficult for me to catch it in a one nighg stand). also im circumcised.

please help and thanks

would the test work after 13 days?!!

Yes, it shows you whether you have been exposed to it in the past and present (igg and igm)

No the blood test would NOT work after 12 days unless you already had it. It typically can take up to 12 weeks after exposure before it appears on a blood test.

if you dont have any sores or blisters.. like white dots....

dont do blood test now .. igm is not efficient..... its better to wait atleast 5 to 6 weeks to do blood test to get 70% accuracy results ... after 12 weeks blood test is more accurate.. For now you can do other sti test like chlamydia and gonorrhea ....

but if you feel something in your private area like white dots or small red bumbs ... better do physical examine with your doctor to go for herpes swab test....

went to doctor and he didnt see any sores or blisters so no swab, he also did an echo imaging to look at the area around the penis bug didnt see nothing, so he ordered a uti lab test for me

You could've caught it (something happened) Wait 3-6 months for the blood test. I'd do one in three months and another in six months.

A quick update on the situation so had a IGM and IGG blood work using ELISA technique 14 days post exposure both came negative even the IGM is super low. and doctor proposed to get a SWAB test of Urethra penile, semen and urine at 20 days post exposure done and came back negative too (sensitivity HSV 2 > 194.49 cp/ml) , i didn't had any other symptoms since the 9th day post exposure. so what you guys think??
