I've had this on going rash & pimple/blister problem in my genital area and I'm really not sure what it is. I recently went to the doctor and tested negative for hsv2 and positive for hsv1 blood igg test. Doctors have told me it's just a fungal infection but I fear it's more. I also have a rash behind my scrotum near my anus.

I did have unprotected sex with a female suspected of having a yeast infection a couple month prior but also protected sex with a female I didn't know so well a year & a half ago. I did use a condom but there was definitely skin to skin contact and I received unprotected oral.

Ithe exact symptoms. Thought for sure herpes but was confused because I've been married for 9 yrs. It was in fact a fungal infection. I needed a prescription strength cream & it took weeks to get under control. It can take months to fully rid of it. Mine was most on my bikini line and in between my butt cheeks.
