I've got it on bum too, it's so uncomfortable. I haven't popped in days, I'm too scared to. I have to get into a warm bath just to pee.

My friend swears by Rutin supplements, ad she was having the same problem. I had deep fissures on mine for a month, so started daily therapy again and they are gone, except some itching here and there. Mine don't bother me really. Also take daily Epsom salt baths.

Did you get diagnosed w HSV 1 or 2? Maybe it came from oral sex. If it is 2, maybe one of you have been asymptomatic for awhile and it just popped up. Did your husband get tested as well?

Don't be embarrassed, nothing to be ashamed of. It is no different than anyone who gets oral herpes

Most doctors unless they specialize in reproductive health, are lacking in education on the subject of herpes.

Since it is HSV 1, sounds like you got it from oral sex from your husband. No need to be embarrassed. It is the case of new genital herpes cases by 70% in the UK & 30-50% in the US from oral sex. Why it chooses that area, I've no idea, because myself and a number of others have reported the same thing and none of us have done anything sexual in that area. The sacral ganglia where the virus hides is a cluster of nerves w peripheral nerves webbing out to it that are involved in the anogenital area, so it can travel down from the ganglia down any of those neuro pathways and pop up anywhere in that area.

Did you get on daily meds?

What specifically did your doctor say about your liver? That you had a high liver enzyme count? No, hsv 1 isn't going to cause liver issues, the heroes virus that does impact organs, would be CMV, but that is someone who 1. Has it 2. Has a compromised immune patient such as HIV, cancer and the most effected are organ transplant donors, due to the immune suppression meds they are out on.

Enzyme levels bring higher than the preferred range ia pretty normal. It can be from a number of things when you had a liver blood test done, such as taking medications that are processed by the liver to having alcoholic beverages the night before. This has happened yo me and then my liver be normal another time.

Thanks for Ur reply hun I was on aciclovir 400mgs 5times a day for a week which has helped great, in December I took a pain In my stomach which totally knocked me out then for 2/3weeks later my back was sore and I found it hard to walk no doctor knew wat was wrong, then a day before the blisters broke out I was ice cold really freezing an had same pain like before in. In my stomach, but then it went and away and next day I had the blisters an my arse was so sore, but doc rook the swab took blood few days later just z I need a liver ultrasound as teats come back white cells were low, my blood was low, an the herpies isn't through sex it's thru oral with a cold sore, but that's all she z so I'm in limbo oh she z my bone marrow was fine..but I just duno how I feel about it all, do u think it's liver connected hun? Your message is hard to understand and grasp timelines because of the typo errors. Would you mind elaborating further please?

      1. where is the pain in your stomach?

      2. Was this before or after getting herpes and starting medications?

      3. Do your back was sore after getting herpes? If so can you describe the type of pain and exact location? When it comes to medical stuff, you can't be ambiguous. It'd be easier if you could bullet your timeline of events, thanks.

I have had lower back pain since getting herpes. I also have had severe neuropathy down my buttock and back of thighs that was unbearable. Along w that during my primary ob, I had pain in my lower abdomen and I had electrical shooting pain in my stomach, to my feet, in vagina, inside rectum and location of sores.

Herpes will do crazy stuff and the docs are ignorant to it. None of them from my gyno, GP or rheumatologist, had ever heard someone getting neuropathy like I did from hsv 2. Getting flu like symptom's during your primary ob isn't uncommon.

Ok wel first was December I bent down and remember an awful pain in my stomach I woke up ambulance team was with me, then I couldn't walk for weeks after and felt horrible plus bad pain in my back, but the stomach pain had gone..I havnt felt right from December then I took the herpies on my bum 2 weeks ago that was my first time and that pain I had in my stomach in December come back 2 days before I took the herpies plus freezing cold, in December doctor said it was my nerve end in my back that caused it but she didn't listen about stomach pain, so once she told me I had herpies 2 weeks ago she put me on the tablets which did clear my bum then said the swab and blood results were low blood, low white cells, and not Sexual herpies I needed a scan on my liver as the test wasn't clear but my bone marrow was fine, that is all she has said so that's y I'm in total shock of what is going on thanks so much. Feelbroken xx
