      Hey,

For men, penile cancer can develop following or independently of HPV infection.

Get treatment ASAP and discuss with your doctor, he may suggest you to do an HPV vaccination, it will help to protect you.

      Regards,

      You can.

For men, penile cancer can develop following or independently of HPV infection (Kelly et al., 2016)

Even NHS website showed that you can get penile cancer:

      Causes of penile cancer

The cause of penile cancer isn't known, but certain risk factors can increase your chances of getting it, including:

carrying the human papilloma virus (HPV)

-there are more than 100 types of HPV; some types cause genital warts (NHS, UK)

What i understand from the NHS website is if someone carry HPV, then it may cause Penile cancer, as genital warts belongs to HPV, so why genital warts do not cause cancer?

The strains which caused genital warts do not cause cancer, i understand it.

But if a person who has genital warts, will it cause cancer?

If not, what does this content mean?

because warts are not a strain on hpv that causes cancer the higer risk strains cause it theres nearly 100 different strains of hpv warts are a low risk strain and not deemed a cause of cancer

theres only 2 strains out of the 100 that causes warts and they are low risk strains they cause no harm just warts iv had hpv for 10 years now i have common warts

but how to know in boys for which strain of hpv you have or infercted because there is no test to prove it in male i guess so

if u have warts then itz one of the two low risk strains u cannot test in men women have a smear test to check this is why there is a vaccine u should book in to have it done to prevent most strains of low risk an high risk strains ...in most cases whether it be warts or high risk strains your immune system gets rid of it over time
