Genital Wart do to HPV? Definitely been weighing on me lately.

I am almost certain that is what this is. It has been larger than this is, and has regressed in size over the course of 8 or so months before seeking treatment!
Also, this showed up a year later after not being sexually active that entire time. So I feel I got this from someone i was dating on and off for 3 years, and who knows when...
The redness in the area is do to a topical I got prescribed to take 3 times a week imiquimod 5%. I've been taking it for 2 months(prescribed for 3] and the size has regressed, but slowly. But strangely enough the teledoc I spoke to just gave me the prescription and didn't actually ask to inspect the area. He seemed to act like it wasn't a big deal and the imiquimod kills the virus, but upon research that doesn't necessarily seem to be the case. I am terrified for the future of my sex life do to this, as i may never know for sure if the virus has left my body. Also it seems the medical community as a whole seems split on whether you should disclose past warts or not. Most say you shouldn't tell future partners, and I just don't see how that makes a whole lot of sense considering the nature of the virus. This has definitely put my anxiety through the roof through the rough year 2020 coming in to 2021. It is nice to be able to have a place to vent a little... forgive me for how long this post is. So many questions, so little answers I feel. Can anyone show me the light at the end of the tunnel But? But this is an HPV Genital wart I am dealing with, correct? Would also love to hear from other people who have experienced this or are experiencing this and have a chat with then if possible. This is a hard thing for me to take on alone.

Yes, it looks like Genital Wart. Did you have tests for any other STD's like herpes for example?

Hey. I used to have genital warts and also got the imiquimod 5% it did help but not a lot. Idk how they treat them were you are from but a doctor recommended me (podofilina) is an acid that burns off the wart. And it did work for me. Don't worry you should probably go with another doctor and ask them to removed it get it burned off. Its faster and better but it can hurt.
Also it might be a good idea to get the hpv vaccine the one with 3 dosis. Dont feel bad or sad, there's a lot of people out there dealing with hpv including my self 😃

I'll definitely be able to get rid of it. I'm less worried about that than the mental affects it is having on me. I feel like even when the wart is gone I may always be contagious and will have to disclose this to any possible sexual partner. It honestly just turns me off to the whole thing in general.
