Hi Jackie. Sorry to hear you are feeling awful. I have been recommended Gentimicin injections into my inner ear for a balance problem. My consultant told me that I would feel dizzy for a few weeks after the procedure as the other ear needs time to kick in and control your balance. I am not sure whether this is the same as you have had. Are you able to call your consultant to check? Hope you feel better soon smile

Thanks Tracey. He never mentioned this. Ive tried phoning today but haven't received a call back yet. I hope your right and it eases. I fly on holiday in 2 weeks so I'm starting to panic.

I would definitely keep phoning as you need an answer. In my experience with hospitals not calling back, the best thing to do is call their complaints line or similar. This seems to get fairly quick action in my experience! Try not to panic - I know that for me, stress and panicking actually make my dizziness worse. I hope you can get some advice and reassurance soon. Hoping that things will soon settle down for you so you and you have a great holiday smile
