Gential herpes HSV 1 and peeing

Hi all, i am new to the site and only came across it because i was just diagnosed with hsv 1, the cold sore time but well down there. At first i thought the burning and itching was from some rough sex and maybe a new yeast infection, but boy was i wrong...! The gyn swabbed the lesions (hurt like a you know what), gave me some 5% lidocaine cream God bless her soul! And started me on Valtrex 1000mg twice a day for 10 days. My symptoms i guess started Wednesday night, it is now Tuesday night, i didnt get started on valtrex until yesterday (monday) i know it hasnt been long but how long until these things slough off and dry up? Some tomes during the day they look drier than others, ive took off work for the week cant work if ya cant pee without a lot of effort. Ive been sitting around bottoms off to let everything air out, with the lidocaine i can finally pee on the toliet with some pain, but a lot better than before, before i was in tears and straight up couldnt pee it was so swollen everywhere. I sit straight up and pull tha labia majoria and minora apart so the urine doesnt hit them. There is 1 sore directly in front of my urthera so thats a struggle to get numb but i can half way do it. Any ideas on when i can start peeing without the 30-45 min lidocaine application time prior, i have to go back to work next week, and i would like to think that by the end of this week these things will have sloughed off, they are no longer blisters, more like flat areas, red base you can see sometimes with a yellowish coating all over them (i assume thats the pus/virus in there coming out) i had a lot of discharge in the begining but now not so much or routinely, i am just curious how long until these suckers start to dry up and how long until i can pee normal! Also after they start to dry up does it still hurt to pee? Will i have to use the lidocaine ointment all the way through until the very end of the breakout?

I am rinsing off with the shower nozzle after i urinate as wiping is impossible, then i blow dry the area with it on low heat, i then will put the smallest amount of film over the outside labia for comfort with the lidocaine so i can sit, well lay down half way comfortably. I have had 2 or 3 new bumps come up on the labia majora part they came up yesterday guess medicine had not fully kicked in yet. I get random shooting burning pains down there which i guess is normal. This is terrible, i wouldnt wish this on any one!

If someone could answer my questions though I'd greatly appreciate it!

    Also, how long does it take for the lesions inside the vagina to heal? As pretty much all but 2 lesions on inside the vagina on the vaginal walls, at the entrance, and at the urthera. It has been almost a week and I dont know how much longer I can take this! I miss peeing normally, being able to drink my usual amount of water, but I cant because not enough lidocaine to use as much as I urinate when drinking a lot of water. The current tube I have had for 12hrs peed 3 times and only half a tube left, and I cant refill until tomorrow. Only a 35gram 1.25ounce tube. I am hoping after calling my dr again on Friday maybe they will call in 2 or 3 with a refill so im good for the weekend and a day or so. I have been having to limit my use thus more burning than if I used enough to where it burns but burns comfortably (if that makes sense), instead of the minimum and im saying not so nice things while I pee.

    I’m no use to any of your answers what so ever! I stumbled upon this page bc I thought I had herpes also but tests came back negative! I’m actually curious now how you get type 1 down there? Is it from them like eating you out or licking there fingers before touching your vagina?? Do you get it only if they have a fever blister on there mouth? Now I’m scared to death to even have sex or anything now

      Hsv 1- to get it "down there" you get it from oral sex there does not have to be an active cold sore, or they could have it on their penis from someone else and its dormant and they dont know it
