Hello my brother was diagnosed with Gerd is it normal for him to have pains sometimes while sleeping all over his body and his heart to sometimes feel like it is beating hard then goes back to beating normally? it beats fine but its just harder easier to feel sometimes he also usually has persistent headaches usually on the top of his head that come and go and sometimes worsen in severity for a second then go back to not that bad. is this normal? he is 130 pounds. He also always has trouble breathing but a lung test came back normal they said maybe possible vocal cord dysfunction. he only gets pain when he sleeps sometimes its not always he also gets random aches all over his body. he usually has nausea too

    GERD or acid reflux gives us a feeling that air is trapped within our esophagus tube. GERD can lead to anxiousness and tightness in the chest which causes heart palpitations. However, do not misconstrue GERD as the sole reason for heart palpitation
