Gerd constant cough

I am desperate have a constant need to cough which comes from below sternum NOT throat. Feel s.o.b alot. Does anyone have this cough coming from that soft hollow below breastbone. I also am s.o.b. alot of the time. Recent cxr, ecg bloods ultrasound abdo. etc all fine. I am scared and it is so persistent I had a scope and told just small hiatus hernia. I dont stop coughing all day. please anyone else and does it come from where I marked it below image
