today i noticed a very dark, black streak in my stool. I've been dealing with GERD issues for the last couple weeks as well and had a lot of heartburn/stomach pain yesterday. i did have some prunes about 24 hours before in order to combat constipation. it helped, but this was a normal stool, not diarrhea, so it seems odd that the prunes would influence color but not consistency....

hi kathryn, i think having read your post the prunes have helped,maybe not with the gerd but the constipation, the black streak is to do with the prunes? i wouldn't worry about this, just check if they help/hinder gerd?
