GERD, or just post nasal drip?

So I do get seasonal allergies, but not bad. I did yard work on Tuesday and then Wed morning I woke up with a really scratchy throat. I thought maybe it was from allergies day prior since I was outside for a while.

Thursday it turns from scratchy to sore/painful throat. No other symptoms though. Took cough drops all day to sooth, felt a little better in the evening.

Now today (Friday) I have a scratchy/tickling throat, accompanied by a pressure feeling in my chest/lower throat. Kind of like heartburn but not burning, just a pressure like food is stuck down my throat. I also feel a little nauseous.

So what are your thoughts? lol do you think this could be GERD or maybe it's just post nasal drip from allergies?

Do you feel the pressure below your breastbone or higher up? Does the pressure in throat feel like a lump? Like how it feels when your about to cry?

The pressure feels like it's in middle of my chest by my breastbone, and then the lump feels more like food stuck in my throat behind my chest breast bone area kinda too

More then likely it is acid reflux. If it’s not too bad at this point I would try to change your diet and see it that helps before trying medication. Mine got really bad because I didn’t change my diet and now the lump is pretty constant. The pressure in my chest isn’t as bad now but I am taking nexium so that might have helped however it doesn’t help with my throat issues which is frustrating.
