Gerd symptoms for the past 2 years

Okay so I've been having gerd symptoms for the 2 years now a few times a day. I feel sick everytime I wake up my sinuses feel messed up. The reason I'm making this post is because I think its progressed the past 6 months where i get random chest pains almost like a contraction and i fell water going down my esophagus when i drink whether it's cold hot or room temperature. I'm worried that my esophagus is really damaged. But one thing I've noticed is I dont get heartburn and I never really did but I regurgitate everytime I eat or drink. If someone could help me out that'd be great.

This is probably going to be the unpopular decision but get yourself on a PPI (proton pump inhibitor) like omeprazole. I know people freak out because it stops your stomache from producing acid but it also helps it from splashing back into your esophagus and hsving to worry about throat cancer or other issues down the road. I've talked to people who have taken PPIs for 30 plus years and they have no issues. good luck.

You seem to need to talk to your doctor. He may need to carry out a few tests.

Meanwhile I hope you are familiar with antacids and such other palliatives which do help in some cases.

    Good luck.

Hi. I had acid reflux for 5 years. Common treatment do not solve my problem. Ultimately, doctors tell me the root of your problem is nervous. I came to the psychiatrist and after treating different medications, I finally got treated with "Nortriptyline".

After two weeks of taking my recovery, I began to counteract.
