getting off zoloft

I've been on 25 mg tablets of zoloft, one each day for 9 days. how can i safely stop this drug?
could someone please give suggestions? Going to doc tomorrow for help.

You shouldn't get any major withdrawal symptoms having only being on it for 9 days. Try just stopping, if you are struggling cut the 25mg in half for a week or two and try again. If your still getting symptoms half it again to 6.25mg. I doubt you will have to go that far though but you could ask for a short supply of diazepam to take the edge off.
Everyone is different but the start up symptoms can be severe, 24 days of hell for myself. If you can try to persevere, it does get easier. Good luck.

I was on 25 mg for longer period and stopped without any problem after my baby was born.
After 9 days you shouldn't have any issues.
