Getting to "play" again????

Hi fellow hippies, I know this question is probably a bit out of the norm as such, but I was wondering when everyone felt comfortable enough to be intermate with their partner again? ????I'm 48, 3 weeks LTHR posterior approach. I'm really worried about dislocating my new precious hip 😦😦. Xxxx

You shouldn't be embarrassed to ask your surgeon, or the dept at which your LTHR was carried out, about this.  Raigmore Hospital in Inverness even provided a stick-drawing sheet showing the various positions which are allowed, & those that are not advisable.

Thanks so much Lynne. Just come home from seeing my surgeon and he said good to go now 🤤🤤.. though I think for my own piece of mind I'm going to give it a little bit longer xxx

The answer is - be inventive!

Result - lots of giggles, and new positions!

A word of caution though - if it hurts, stop doing it!

    Hi Debbie

I am 7 weeks post op and just felt confident and that it was right time. All ok here

In fact better than ok. Since weekend I've been getting pain in bum and rear thigh. I had been pain free for about 2 weeks !!!! after playing my pain was gone. It must of been a trapped nerve or something similar and now it's gone. 😁 double whammy

Wow that's fantastic .. hope it's the same for me cos I've got that horrible bum pain too lol
