    Hi

All depends on age and co morbidities i.e do you suffer with high blood pressure/diabetes.

A GFR of 59.9 is good but again dependent on age and if rapid decrease in GFR, do you have protein in urine?

Hello, avanish. I was sorry to read about your symptoms but I wouldn't rush to attribute them to CKD. I have a GFR of 6 and the only swelling I experience is in my feet towards the end of the day.

Perhaps there are other reasons, such as needing a diuretic but a GFR of 60 is something I would love to have!

    Best wishes, and keep well.

If you have any swelling in your legs, you should tell a doctor what can be done.

When I had swellings in my legs, my doctor prescribed compression.socks. Without these socks, I developed ulcers, open sores, which took a long time to heal mainly because I am diabetic.

There are over the counter compression socks but the better ones, you need a prescription.

Or you may need a diuretic., to reduce the swelling in your legs.

I hope you talk to a doctor as soon as possible. Good luck
