GI Scope and Nausea

i had an endoscopy today. once i was done, felt fine, i ate chicken and some fries, went home took a nap. after my nap, I noticed i was burping a lot and it was bringing up what seemed like vomit. bits of it felt stuck in my throat and its very irritating. i was even feeling it in my nose.

its bow been about 4 hours since that and im so nauseous i feel like i could puke. my throat hurts, which i expected, but i feel so sick and my acid reflux seems worse than before. anyone else?

    Scrambled egg or soup might have been a better choice. Were you given no directions re eating?

    It was good that you felt fine after the procedure and you must have had a skilled operator but your oesophagus has been at least mildly assaulted and it cannot have been pleased, having tolerated the tube so well, to have to cope with fries. Treat it gently for a couple of days but seek advice if symptoms are severe.
