Gilbert’s Syndrome and HRT

****Hi fellow Gilbert's syndrome people!

I have Gilbert's. I'm 44.

Imagine my surprise when being tested for early menopause and having a very tricky toddler called Gilbert when i got the call!

Anyway, always having been crazy sensitive, vomiting after alcohol and pain right side under rib was always told was reflux. I eat so well, I do all the correct things for Gilbert's, but I did also go through early menopause. I take HRT. Recently I had terrible pains again during a time id run out of my oestrogen patches. written off by docs, but found a haemangioma on my liver. ( harmless apparently)

I believe the HRT is causing all my symptoms, but equally the menopausal symptoms are equally debilitating. Got a call next week with GP, I need help. Not sure what to ask for as they're so unknowledgeable about both! They think I'm mad when I say I think they're linked. What specialists would be most useful? My quality of life is quite seriously impaired at the mo. Not sure where to turn?

There is a point of no return in HRT. If it isn't too late for you - consider blood tests of vitamins and metals. Focus on copper, zinc, magnesium. They will help with hormones, but honestly speaking after HRT copper can be dangerous
